Two people have been arrested for allegedly burglarizing the Oelwein Chamber and Area Development office.

Krystle Schoultz, 30, of Oelwein and Robert Rinella Jr., 27, of Hazleton, are charged with third-degree burglary in connection with the July 27 incident. They are accused of breaking into the Oelwein Chamber office on West Charles Street, and taking $450 in Oelwein Dollars, a money box, two money bags, and gift cards.

Police said the incident was captured on security video.

Schoultz was taken into custody on Aug. 20, while Rinella was arrested Aug 25. Both have been released from jail, pending a trial.

In addition burglary, Schoultz was also charged with possession of methamphetamine for a substance found in her purse. Rinella faces additional charges of giving police false identification and interference with official acts.
