Two Cedar Valley women were injured and taken to the hospital after a one car accident on Highway 20.

A vehicle operated by Nashae Cook, 27, of Waterloo was westbound on Highway 20 when she lost control, over corrected and went into the median where the vehicle rolled over and came to rest in the eastbound lanes.  The roadway was slippery due to snow blowing across it.  Ms. Cook was transported to a local hospital in Waterloo with multiple injuries by the Jesup Ambulance.

A passenger in the vehicle, Ashley Harrington-Johnson, 20, was ejected from the vehicle and was flown to a hospital by Air Care helicopter with multiple injuries.

Deputies were assisted by the Evansdale Police, Gilbertville and Jesup Fire Departments.
