A Strange Finnish Version of ‘YMCA’ From 1979

On a live TV performance in 1979, the Finnish artist Gregorius performed a unique version of the then-popular Village People song “YMCA.” Although in Finland, the letters translate to “NMKY." The group also wore basketball uniforms rather than the costumes worn by the Village People.
