A bear known to hang around a Lake Mary, Florida neighborhood is known by the locals as "Tripod" due to him only having three legs - missing the right front leg, causing him to sort of hop with his front foot.

Josaury Faneite-Diglio was out of the house when she got a notification on her home security camera that saw movement, and when she checked it, saw that Tripod was paying a visit to her home in Magnolia Plantation around 5pm on Sunday.

At the same time, her son, Joseph Diglio, heard the family dog begin to bark at something. When he looked out the window the dog was barking at, he saw that Tripod had somehow broken into their lanai that surrounds the back of the house. He started recording with his phone.

"Oh my God. I've never been this close to a bear," he can be heard saying in the video.

As the bear wandered the lanai, he got to the fridge attached to the family's outdoor bar, and decided he'd earned himself a drink or two.

He left a hole in the screen that covers the Lanai on his way in and out, but patio refreshments like their White Claws really stood no chance against the bear's big jaws.

"He ate the fish food we had outside next to our fish tank and then proceeded to the bar," Faneite-Diglio told WESH. "He took three White Claws, drank, and left very happy. His favorite flavor is mango and strawberry."

Joseph thought differently about the bear's ability to open the refrigerator.

"Once I saw him open the fridge, I got scared that he could open the doors to like the houses," he said.

Josaury wasn't worried though.

"I was not scared because we know the bear really well. He lives here; we respect their habitat as much as we can," she said.
