Sportscasters aren't very busy right now. They, too are looking for ways to spice up their quarantine life and keep the pipes sharp. British sportscaster Andrew Cotter went viral with a video of him "calling the plays" while his dogs jockeyed for a toy. He's been doing more such videos ever since.

Meanwhile, if you're here in Eastern Iowa, and have ever dreamed of "The Voice of the Hawkeyes" Gary Dolphin doing a play-by-play of your life, here's your chance.

Iowa's New Now reported on something called "Backyard Calls with Gary Dolphin". It's presented by Athletico and it's simple. It can be any (family-friendly, we assume) moment you've captured on video during quarantine you want Dolph to lend his voice to. The three most entertaining ones will be chosen and posted each week to Hawkeye social media. Make it fun, make it funny, and feature your kids, and/or your pets!

Per the rules posted at Hawkeye Sports, prospective NCAA student-athletes are not eligible. Any kids being entered should be in sixth grade or younger.

Submit your 10-15 second video to the Iowa Athletics Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram feeds and get more details below.
