One person has been arrested after a stabbing in Waterloo Monday night (March 14, 2016).

Waterloo police were initially called out just before 9 p.m. to the 1000 block of West 5th St. on the report of a stabbing. However, the incident reportedly happened on Allen Street.

One person, whose name was not released, was taken to Covenant Medical Center with injuries not deemed to be life-threatening.

Following an investigation, Jasmine Roosevelt, 22, was arrested on a charge of assault with intent to inflict serious injury. Roosevelt is being held in the Black Hawk County jail in Waterloo.
