Waterloo Woman Struck By Train At Local Crossing
A woman suffered injuries when she was struck by a train in Waterloo late Wednesday (Sept. 6, 2017).
A police report shows the accident happened at a railroad crossing near Logan Ave. and Center St. around 11:30 p.m.
Authorities said the victim was a 67-year-old woman from Waterloo, but they didn't identify her. According to police, the woman suffered severe leg injuries. She was transported to a local hospital, but information on her condition wasn't released.
