Waterloo Bicyclist Killed In Weekend Accident
Authorities have identified a bicyclist who was struck and killed in a weekend accident in Waterloo.
Police said 18-year-old Nicole Kulaszewski suffered serious injuries in the mishap. She was rushed to a local hospital, but died a few hours later after being airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
The accident happened on Broadway Street near Burton Ave. around 2 AM Sunday.
According to police, Kulaszewski was struck by an eastbound vehicle. Authorities identified the driver as 26-year-old Cameron Stillwell.
The accident remains under investigation.
