The summer season is going out with a bang at Adventureland! Two 90s acts will be visiting the Altoona amusement park this September to play a concert.

On Saturday, September 17th, the bands Everclear and Fastball will be playing a concert at Adventureland. The concert is free for parkgoers with the purchase of park admission for the day.

Opening up the concert is Fastball, a band that first formed in Austin, Texas back in 1995. The group found success in 1998 with their album All the Pain Money Can Buy, which featured the hit songs "The Way" and "Out of My Head," and they were even nominated for a couple of Grammy awards! Their latest album The Deep End was released this year.

Everclear, the headliner for the night, got their start in Portland, Oregon in 1991. Their 1995 album Sparkle and Fade put the group on the map with their first hit song "Santa Monica," and they went on to release other popular songs like "Father of Mine" and "Wonderful." The band's last studio album was released in 2015.

Adventureland has welcomed a few 90s acts already this summer with their Summer’s On! concert series. Vertical Horizon played on July 1st, Uncle Kracker was there on the 4th of July, and Marcy Playground is scheduled for August 5th. Actually, Fastball is on the schedule again, too! They're set to play a solo set this Friday, July 29th. You can check out the full schedule HERE.

If you want to check out Everclear & Fastball, Adventureland is currently selling park tickets for $44.99. You can purchase yours HERE.
