You read that right. The Minnesota Vikings are bird killers. Well, their new stadium is and everyone knew it was going to happen, but they built it anyway.

There is truly only one reason why this article is here. I'm a Packer fan and I will find any reason to bash the Vikings. I wanted to make sure to get that out of the way, so you didn't think this was a serious story. It IS a serious story, but I'll tear it apart and make it seem like the Vikings have no morals.

During the planning of the Vikings' new $1 Billion plus stadium, the Audubon Chapter of Minneapolis raised concerns that the 200,000 square feet of glass the stadium was to install will confuse birds and they will end up smashing into the glass, killing them. That argument was a good one. A new report just came out and that's exactly what has happened.

The Audubon Society, alongside some other bird loving groups, have been walking the perimeter of the stadium for the past few weeks and have seen a very large number of dead birds and birds that were stunned from hitting the glass.

Another problem is that the stadium sits smack dab in the middle of the migratory path of a large number of species of birds. That means during the migratory period in the spring and fall, the number of bird deaths increases from a lot to a whole bunch.

Death to birds, Sam Bradford, no Super Bowl title, and an influx of rude and nasty fans has made the Minnesota Vikings my least favorite team in the U.S. Ok, I made that up, they are my 2nd least favorite team. The Chicago Bears on #1, only because their fans at Soldier Field are amazingly rude and ignorant.
