The Fact Is...

There is a bug out there that can make you allergic to red meat.  NOOOOOOOO!!!! And no, it's not called the PETA Bug.

There is actually a tick called the Lone Star Tick that injects some sort of sugar found in red meat.  The tick injects this into your blood, which in turn causes your body to make antibodies that create an allergic reaction when the person eats read meat that also has that sugar.

The good news is...it can't be found in Iowa.  The bad news is...Crazy ass vegans will probably start breeding them.
