'Tis the season of college basketball and a lot of it. Conference tournaments are heating up which means the dance is on the way. There are 63 games for you to try and correctly predict as you fill out your bracket. The first day of the tournament is one of my favorite sports days of the year. It's nearly impossible to get anything done at work when all you want to do is sneak away to find a tv and see how your bracket is doing. Not only that, there's something fun about knowing so many other people are paying attention to the games and rooting on teams they know absolutely nothing about.

There are 357 Division 1 college basketball teams, how can anyone keep track of all of them? I tend to somehow have Kansas and Michigan State in my final four every year and I'm not sure why that happens. The odds of picking a perfect bracket are 1 in 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 but this is the year I believe you can do it. You should definitely buy a Powerball ticket afterward if that happens.  Along with enjoying all of the madness that is nearly upon us, you can enjoy basketball in a great atmosphere.

Whether you're looking to grab something to eat and have a few drinks with your friends or want to take the family out to dinner and catch some basketball, you'll find something to suit your needs here. If you're looking for a rowdy bar to yell and cheer for your favorite team or something more laid back for a casual dinner, I've got you covered. Here are the best sports bars in Eastern Iowa
