Red Rocker got a head start on his 77th birthday with two shows at the Palms before next week's annual Cabo celebration.

He says this new music is reminiscent of '80s albums like 'Working Class Dog' and 'Tao.'

He'll be joined on select dates by the Hooters, Paul Young, Tommy Tutone, John Waite and the Tubes.

He says the LP helped determine whether he would "be here tomorrow or is this pretty much it?"
