Syringes Found During Search of Booked NE Iowa Man

An Oelwein man has been booked into the Fayette County jail on illegal drug charges.

On Saturday, 43 year old Christopher Keppler was brought in by the West Union Police Department, on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

During a search of Keppler, while being booked, officers found two hypodermic syringes.

Keppler was then charged by the Fayette County Sheriff, with possession of contraband in a jail or secure facility.
