Ugh! Peacocks are pretty, but they are extremely annoying. Believe me, I live withing a mile, 3 blocks as the crow flies, from a muster of peacocks and you can hear them squawking at all hours.

When we first moved in, we thought it was cats in heat. Then we found out, someone decided to collect these things and make them pets. WHY!!????

Other than lawnmowers, garage doors opening and kids playing, you probably shouldn't hear too many sounds on a quiet suburban street.

Nobody told these peacocks that, though.

This video features some very loud peacocks squawking on an otherwise quiet and serene street. And "loud" is an understatement. Maybe you can expect to hear some birds chirping or some crickets, but, wow, we'd imagine this kind of screeching sound can make you think about putting your house up for sale.

If this kind of noise pollution happened at 7 a.m. on a Sunday, you can bet there'd be a neighborhood meeting about a way to stop these birds from wreaking havoc.
