Sponsor A Families’ T-Giving Dinner With The N.E. Iowa Food Bank
This past year continued to be challenging across our nation and here in Iowa, between the never-ending pandemic, labor shortages, and disputes, political strife, alongside all of our own personal challenges. But through all of that, we persevere and still "give thanks" for what we have rather than what we do not.
Here's a chance for you to give back to the community this holiday season by considering sponsoring a family's Thanksgiving dinner this year. The Northeast Iowa Food Bank will be giving out thousands of Thanksgiving dinners to those experiencing hunger in the Cedar Valley, along with Bremer and Butler counties as well. This year, they're looking to feed 4,000 northeast Iowa households with Thanksgiving dinner kits.
