It has been announced that Tom Hanks will play Fred Rogers in a bio-pic. But a new documentary about the children's TV host will come out this summer. Rogers wasn't wacky, goofy and didn't pander to children. He took on real issues and assured kids that it was going to be alright. He took on death, divorce, and race relations, something no other children's show would ever touch.
