Waterloo Man Wins Huge Prize Off $2 Scratch Ticket
It seems like people in Eastern Iowa really seem to be raking in the dough with these lottery prizes, right? Congratulations are in order for one Waterloo man who ended up bringing home a pretty hefty prize from the Iowa Lottery this week!
Who Won The Prize?
A Waterloo gentleman named Lawrence Hill Sr. ended up taking home the lottery prize, according to reports from Iowa Lottery. Reports say that Hill purchased the lucky ticket at Prime Vape & Tobacco in Waterloo. Located at 508 Broadway St. in Waterloo, Hill purchased the Iowa Lottery's "Money Bag Doubler" scratch game.
The Waterloo man ended up claiming the prize on Tuesday at the Iowa lottery's office in Cedar Rapids.
He ended up winning $10,000 after playing the "Money Bag Doubler" scratch game. The initial ticket cost $2 and features five top prizes of $10,000. In addition, the odds of winning the game are 1 in 3.81.
Also, doesn't he look so happy to be winning the prize? I mean, I'd be excited too, but his big smile just makes me all that more psyched that he won the hefty lottery amount.
