Rock Fans Guide To Sturgis Falls Live Bands

The weather is going to be hot this weekend...and so is the live music at the Sturgis Falls Celebration and Cedar Basin Music Festival...

Live music fans are gearing up for easily the best weekend of live music this summer...as the Sturgis Falls Celebration boasts a terrific line up of bands...most notably, “undeniably the South’s greatest rock band”...the legendary Dash Rip Rock playing at 10:45 Saturday night during the Cedar Basin Music Festival, on the Heritage stage in Sturgis Park (near the Ice House Museum). Simply known as "Dash" to their fans, their known for their high-octane roots rock and blistering guitar work from the band's frontman (and founder) Bill Davis. Check out the videos below for some examples of their work, and do NOT miss this show! P.S. Make sure to check out Bill's "other band", Borealis Rex starting at 4:15pm on Saturday on the Heritage Stage.

Dash Rip Rock - Let's Go Smoke Some Pot - not necessarily advocating smoking the "wacky weed", this song is more making fun of the pot-smoking bands of the 90's, like the Spin Doctors, Blues Traveler, Drivin' & Cryin", etc...it's a tongue-in-cheek parody of the Danny & the Juniors songs "At The Hop"....
