A hard month of July brought is what drove Bryan's on 4th to closing. The establishment had been open for a little over two years, but according to owner Byran Sink, it was all because of one rough month.

In an interview with KWWL, Bryan said that he didn't blame downtown Waterloo for his business' closing and said that downtown is 'on verge of great things.'

During its short history, Bryan's on 4th raked up great reviews on Facebook, Yelp and Trip Adviser and was seen as a more upscale option for those in the Cedar Valley. With the Limestone Lounge also a part of the establishment, they hosted live music nightly and offered an upscale bar for patrons in downtown looking for more than a place to simply get a drink.

Sink has not decided what he'll do next.
