Plane Makes Emergency Landing After a Cat Hijacks Cockpit
There's a million reasons a plane would have to make an emergency landing, whether it be computer issues, engine failure, or a mid-flight freakout from a passenger. It's not often we hear of the pilots being attacked in an attempted hijacking as the reason for landing.
A passenger plane headed for Qatar took off from the Khartoum International Airport came under siege around half an hour into the flight, by a passenger the plane wasn't expecting.
In a show of force, a pissed off feral cat launched its attack on the pilots before turning onto the other members of the flight crew.
Fruitless attempts at stopping the cat caused the pilot to make the decision to turn around.
It's not known how the cat got into the plane, or where it was hiding, but it's believed that it climbed in when the crew was conducting their engineering review.
