Week three of the NFL regular season is in the books, so let's recap how former Northern Iowa Panthers performed in last week’s NFL games.

UNI currently has six former Panthers in the NFL, with the most recent signing of LJ Fort to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 53-man roster. Below is a full rundown of UNI’s current players in the NFL and how they did in week three.

DAVID JOHNSON (UNI - 2011-14)
Week 4 Schedule: 49ers at Cardinals (Sunday, 3:05 p.m. CT)
The former Panther running back finished his first game of the season with 23 yards on 11 carries, before suffering an injury. Reports say David Johnson will be out at least two months after undergoing wrist surgery and will be placed on injured reserve.

DEIONDRE HALL (UNI - 2012-15)
Week 4 Schedule: Bears at Packers (Thursday, 7:25 p.m. CT)
Deiondre Hall is entering his second season with the Chicago Bears in 2017, he was most recently placed on the injured reserve by the Bears. Hall played in eight games as a rookie in the 2016 season.

AUSTIN HOWARD (UNI - 2006-09)
Week 4 Schedule: Steelers at Ravens (Sunday, 12 p.m. CT)
The Davenport, Iowa native started at offensive tackle again this week, but his Ravens were defeated in London by the Jacksonville Jaguars, 44-7.

XAVIER WILLIAMS (UNI - 2011-14)
Week 4 Schedule: 49ers at Cardinals (Sunday, 3:05 p.m. CT)
Xavier Williams did not record a tackle in his third game with the Cardinals. Arizona was defeated by the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night, 28-17.

L.J. FORT (UNI - 2008-10)
Week 4 Schedule: Steelers at Ravens (Sunday, 12 p.m. CT)
After being signed to the Steeler practice squad following week two, LJ Fort was promoted to the 53-man roster this past week. Fort’s Steelers lost on the road to the Chicago Bears, 23-17.

TERRELL SINKFIELD (UNI - 2009-12)
Week 4 Schedule: Jaguars at Jets (Sunday, 12 p.m. CT)
Before the start of the 2017 regular season, former Panther Terrell Sinkfield was signed to the New York Jets practice squad as a cornerback. Sinkfield began his NFL career as an undrafted free agent with the Miami Dolphins in 2013. Since then, Sinkfield has spent time with the Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings and the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts, Hamilton Tiger-Cats and BC Lions.
