21 years ago today Nancy Kerrigan was clubbed on the right knee with a police baton at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Detroit.

22-year-old Shane Stant was paid $6500 to club her on the knee and served 18-months in prison for the assault. He now runs a legal marijuana business in Los Angeles.
