Netflix Scores Rights To Monty Python’s Full Catalog

Get ready for the circus to make its way into your home.

Netflix now owns the international rights to Monty Python's whole catalog including "Monty Python's Flying Circus", "Monty Python's Life of Brian", and "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". There are plenty of other projects that have the Monty Python moniker attached as well. (Hopefully they show Monty Python's Tony Award winning musical "Monty Python's Spamalot")

According to Syfy.com, Netflix will be lauching titles in the U.K., Canada, and other territories starting April 15th but the U.S. will get these titles and more coming later on in 2018.

Netflix is also talking about commissioning all-new Monty Python material with surviving members: John Cleese, Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam, and Terry Jones. (Graham Chapman passes away from cancer in 1989.)
