Lawyer Accidentally Joins Zoom Hearing With Cat Filter, Doesn’t Know How to Turn it Off
An attorney in western Texas received some unexpected attention when he joined a Zoom call without realizing the cat filter was turned on.
During a virtual proceeding, attorney Rod Ponton logged onto the Zoom call when Judge Roy Ferguson noticed Ponton pointed out, "I believe you have a filter turned on in the video settings."
Ponton said he was aware and that his assistant was helping him.
"I'm here live, I'm not a cat."
The video was immediately posted to the court's YouTube channel where it quickly went viral.
