Fair Daily Schedule
Each day of the Mississippi Valley Fair offers something different, from special admission days to concerts and family activities. The fairgrounds are open Tuesday, August 4 through Sunday, August 9, 2026. Throughout the week, you'll find livestock shows, 4-H competitions, commercial vendors, carnival rides, exhibits, free entertainment, and nightly Grandstand concerts. The official daily schedules are updated by the fair as events are finalized.

What Time Does The Fair Open/Close?
According to the official Mississippi Valley Fair website, the fairgrounds are open from 7:00 a.m. until midnight (12:00 a.m.) every day of the fair.
- Fair Hours: August 4 - August 9: 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.
- Carnival Midway: 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. daily
- Exhibit Buildings: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Grandstand Concerts: Begin at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday–Saturday and 6:00 p.m. Sunday.
- Gates open earlier depending on your ticket type. More info below.
What Are The Special Days?
- Tuesday: Special Needs Day (free admission until 2 p.m.)
- Wednesday: Senior Day (free admission for ages 60+ all day)
- Thursday: Kids Day (free admission for children 12 and under all day)
- Sunday: Military Appreciation Day (free admission all day for active and retired military with valid ID)

Every night of the fair features a major concert at the Grandstand.

On Sunday, the concert begins at 6:00 p.m. With a Pepsi Premier Pass, you can enter the grandstands at 4:00 p.m. Fun Card & General Admission is at 4:30 p.m.
