The past few months have seen a whole lot of change to the Cedar Falls business scene. We've seen many different restaurants and eateries come and go in the fall. Another new *sweet* addition to Main Street is coming very soon.

You might have spotted the bakery's most popular treats "Bambinos" at your local Hy-Vee. The shop shares the same name as these adorable little treats! Bambinos opened its first location in early March of this year at their location at at 1445 Ansborough Avenue.

The owners just announced that a SECOND location is set to open right on Main Street.

Bambinos is the passion project of a local cancer survivor named Donna O'Brien. The bakery is described on its Facebook page as a combination of her, "Italian heritage, love for baking and passion for helping others."

O'Brien has been running the business from her own home for several years.

O'Brien is the brains behind the operation and a breast cancer survivor as well. She has insisted since the bakery's inception that a portion of the profits goes towards a non-profit organization called Beyond Pink Team.
