Iowa Internet Sensation Has Unlikely Run in with ’90s Star

You might remember Gucci the cow from the viral videos that took the internet by storm a few years back.

He and his owner, Mason Corkery from Jesup, made a splash on television screens after videos of their adventures to Chick-fil-A, Dairy Queen, and Starbucks went viral on TikTok.

The team continues to create hilarious videos for social media and makes appearances at various events throughout the state. Corkery has taken his furry friend to nursing homes, schools, and even your favorite dive bar!

Gucci is really leveling up.

Both human and bovine were invited out to Mason City for an event at Mason City Arena called 'I Love the '90s Tour.'

This is a concert celebration of '90s pop culture and music. One of the featured acts at this August 23rd show was Vanilla Ice.

Known for his global hit 'Ice Ice Baby' the performer made his way out to Iowa for this show.

And no visit to the Hawkeye State is complete without meeting a cow, right?

Corkery captured the moment when the rap legend Vanilla Ice met the Eastern Iowa star, Gucci the cow. In the video, Corkery humorously announces, "I guess I'm pranking Vanilla Ice tonight with Gucci."

As soon as Gucci is pointed out, Vanilla Ice makes a quick dash to pet him. The two hit it off so well that Vanilla Ice even feeds Gucci a banana.

When Gucci accidentally drops the fruit, Vanilla Ice hands it back, but not before playfully pretending the banana is a phone and delivering a quick dad joke.
