A Cedar Valley staple is opening up for the season!

Nothing says that autumn is finally here (or is just around the corner) than hearing news of your local pumpkin patch launching into a whole new year.

The Patch in Cedar Falls announced they would finally be ready to welcome visitors this month. Located at 305 Roosevelt Street, this pumpkin patch is on my list for places I need to pay a visit to this fall.

The Patch offers visitors two different areas. One is a retail space where customers can browse and shop some of their products. You can pick up all sorts of pumpkins (obviously), squash, flowers, and cornstalks, according to the company's website.

There are some other fun seasonal items that you can pick up in this little area!

The other area requires a $5 admission fee for both kids and adults. This section has fun games and activities that are perfect for the whole family...or a fun little fall date. They have pumpkin bowling, hay bale climbing, a pumpkin house, and a spot where you can paint your pumpkin!
