Halloween is over and it is officially November. As you gear up for Thanksgiving and Christmas you can expect to see Hallmark holiday movies galore. Whether you're finding them on basic cable or any of your favorite streaming services, gear up, because, like winter in Game of Thrones, they're coming.

Have you ever noticed that every Hallmark Christmas movie is pretty much the exact same? Maybe that's why they're so loved. They're safe, we can feel comfortable watching them, we know the happy ending is on the way, and we can take the good feeling into the holidays. Have you also noticed the main couple in these movies meet the same way? You have to give them credit for following the format at least...

If a Hallmark movie was made in 2022 with Iowa being the main setting, how do you think the movie would play out? Would the star couple meet in Des Moines, the biggest city and capital of the state? Would they find themselves somewhere a little smaller but with a killer main street, like Cedar Falls? Are you thinking of an even smaller city like Amana? Personally, I think the Amana Colonies would be a pretty sweet location for a Hallmark movie.

The good news is there is a comedian and Tik-Tok star who has put together a short story of what a Hallmark movie in Iowa would probably look like. Trey Kennedy shared this video with his 3.6 million followers yesterday. He knocks this out of the park. I wouldn't be surprised if we see huge film crews and movie stars knocking on Iowa doors sometime soon, to get a movie like this made.

Movie Script

*Sarcasm Alert*

If you enjoy Hallmark movies, you can immediately picture the big-city writer who needs to take an adventure to come up with a new story to help save her company. She moves to the town of Amana to find a new take on life and to find a story to sell. She crashes into a rural Iowa farm boy, who of course looks like he works on a farm every day, but also has the cleanest hands and clothes you've ever seen.

The main couple starts to fall for each other and spends the next 20 minutes of the movie in a romantic whirlwind. Then, of course, something bad happens. They both have a secret they haven't shared with one another. The farm boy is secretly married and the big city writer hasn't told him she needs to go back to New York after Christmas. They yell at each other, say things they don't mean, and avoid each other for the next 20 minutes of the movie. The rest of the cast of characters goes on to explain how crazy they are for not speaking and lets each of them know they are meant for each other.

The movie ends with each of them meeting up at the town Christmas festival. Our main characters are forced to solve a major problem together. GASP! Our festival has run out of wrapping paper, how will we wrap all of the Christmas gifts? Having to work together and with a little help from Christmas spirit, they can't avoid their feelings. They fall back in love, fireworks go off, Christmas lights galore and they live happily ever after. Credits Roll.

I'd say Trey Kennedy got this one right?
