Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Iowa/Illinois Quad Cities
After getting 10+ inches of snow across the area over the weekend, it looks like it's not over for us yet, as we all awoke Monday morning to the news of another Winter Weather Advisory coming from the National Weather Service.
Winter Weather Advisory Issued
Starting at noon on Monday, December 1st, Muscatine, Scott, Whiteside, Rock Island, Henry IL, Bureau, Putnam, Mercer, Henderson, Warren, and McDonough counties all are going to go under a Winter Weather Advisory.
A burst of accumulating snow will cross the area late this morning through the evening hours today. This system will likely bring a widespread inch of snow for most, with upwards to 2 to 4 inches in our southeastern half of the area. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for locations at best risk for 2 to 4 inches.
The advisory is active from noon on Monday to midnight.
