Cedar Rapids Irish Restaurant Will Transform Into The Lindale Pub

A Cedar Rapids restaurant at Lindale Mall is counting down its final days, and preparing for something new!

Olde Brick House restaurant can be found near Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids. The Irish themed establishment opened in 2023 and features Irish favorites like Shepherd's Pie, fish and chips, and my personal favorite...Scotch Eggs! I'd never tried them before I had them at Olde Brick House!

Holly and I have enjoyed all of our meals at Olde Brick House. We'd heard rumors that it was going to be closing and yesterday we finally got some clarification on the restaurant's plans. According to a Facebook post, Olde Brick House will soon be transforming into a new establishment called Lindale Pub. The post states that the new pub will feature fewer entrees, more classic pub fare, pizzas, and more. The current staff will also stay on after the new restaurant opens.

So how long do fans of Olde Brick House, like me, have to enjoy some of our favorites? The post states that Olde Brick House will remain open through St. Patrick's Day. That makes sense for an Irish-themed restaurant. It will give fans a few weeks to use gift cards, and enjoy another pint or some Scotch eggs before the transition begins.

The post says to stay tuned for more details for a grand opening date for the new Lindale Pub. So long Olde Brick House. You will be missed.
