3. Wind River - 2017 - Sheridan directed this thriller starring Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen, as the two investigate the death of a young Native woman on the Wind River Reservation. 2. Sicario - 2015 - This film got three Oscar nominations and features fantastic performances from Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin, and the fantastic Benicio Del Toro. But the star of this film, other than Roger Deakins behind the camera, is the Taylor Sheridan screenplay. Blunt plays an FBI agent on a mission to track down Mexican drug cartels. The border crossing sequence is one to remember. Yes, Denis Villeneuve directed Sicario, but Sheridan gets full credit too. 91% Rotten Tomatoes
1. Hell or High Water - 2016 - Taylor Sheridan is the screenwriter on this classic movie about two brothers played by Chris Pine and Ben Foster, who go on a bank-robbing spree in Texas.
