A New Makeup & Beauty Supply Chain is Coming to Coral Ridge Mall
A popular beauty chain that carries Korean beauty products is set to open three locations in Iowa, including one in the Corridor!
Last week while meandering around Coral Ridge Mall, I noticed signage for a new store across from Scheels, right next to Zumiez. The store is called Miss A, and the description on the wall reads:
"The infinite playground of makeup + beauty tools, that you can #justhavefun with."
Let's learn a little bit more about the new mall addition!
About Miss A
Miss A's website refers to the chain as "the ultimate affordable beauty experience." It was founded in Dallas, Texas by husband-and-wife duo Jean Baik and Kenneth Baik back in 2013, and has continued to grow in the years since. There are now more than 80 stores across the country, with an additional 30+ stores listed on their site as "COMING SOON."
The motto at Miss A is simply, "affordable is beautiful." They have products starting at just $1, and offer just about everything you can imagine when it comes to makeup and beauty. That include eyelashes, hair treatments & accessories, spa tools, jewelry, skincare, makeup brushes & tools, foundation, lipstick & lip gloss, eye makeup, nail polish, and so much more. There's also a section dedicated to K-beauty called "Seoul Scandal," which features viral Korean beauty products.
We don't know exactly when Miss A will open at Coral Ridge Mall, but the sign outside the store says that it's set to open sometime this summer. For the latest updates, you can follow the Coral Ridge Mall Facebook page HERE. You can also shop the business online HERE.
In addition to Coral Ridge Mall, Miss A's website says that the store is also set to open locations at Jordan Creek Town Center in West Des Moines and Outlets of Des Moines in Altoona.
Other New Additions at Coral Ridge Mall
Another store listed as "coming soon" on the Coral Ridge Mall website is a business called Halberstadt's Men's Clothiers. The Sioux Falls-based company has been family-owned and operated since it was founded in 1975, and offers "unmatched service and quality in men's tailored and casual garments."
The new Coralville location for Halberstadt's Men's Clothiers will be located between Hot Topic and Spencer's across from Scheels inside of the mall. There's another Iowa store over at the Jordan Creek Town Center that opened in 2025.
As far as stores that have recently opened, Go! Toys, Games & Calendars reopened inside of Coral Ridge Mall back on May 13th. The store is located right across from Carter's and next to Sephora.
The Black & Gold Shop has also reopened at their new location in the former Francesca's near JC Penney.
