I know that every day is a great day for ice cream, but this Thursday is especially good. 2024's Miracle Treat Day is coming up on July 25th!

Miracle Treat Day is the best day of the year to head to a local Dairy Queen and order your favorite Blizzard. Why? Well, the official press release reads:

"For every Blizzard Treat sold at participating DQ® locations, $1 or more will help change kids’ health to change the future at University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children’s Hospital, a member hospital of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals"

That's right. All you have to do is buy a Blizzard, and money from your purchase will benefit kids right here in Eastern Iowa! According to the press release, the goal is to raise $60,000 for the Stead Family Children’s Hospital through this year’s Dairy Queen fundraising campaigns, and Miracle Treat Day is a big part of that. Last year they raised more than $57,000!

Dairy Queen has lots of different Blizzard flavors available right now, including their new summer lineup! That includes Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Party, Picnic Peach Cobbler, Ultimate Cookie, Cotton Candy, Frosted Animal Cookie, and Brownie Batter. YUM.
