Big Grove Brewery Announces New Christmas Pop-Up For 2026

Big Grove Brewery is joining the growing list of businesses that will host a Christmas pop-up this holiday season! Last week, the popular brewery announced 'A Very Merry Big Grove,' which will take place at all four of their Iowa taprooms in 2026.

What's 'A Very Merry Big Grove'?

According to an official press release, 'A Very Merry Big Grove' is "a fully immersive and over-the-top holiday pop-up experience" that will kick off this November. The Big Grove Brewery locations in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Solon, and Iowa City will all undergo "complete floor-to-ceiling seasonal transformations," with over-the-top holiday decorations, lots of twinkling lights, and special food & beverage menus. The pop-up also promises giveaways, games, and ongoing holiday events, as well.

When Will it Start?

All four Iowa Big Grove Taprooms will open for 'A Very Merry Big Grove' in November, but on different dates. Here's the opening schedule for each location:

Des Moines - Tuesday, November 10th
Cedar Rapids - Thursday, November 12th
Solon - Monday, November 16th
Iowa City - Tuesday, November 24th

Big Grove's holiday pop-ups will end on Tuesday, January 5th of 2027.

Do I Have to Make Reservations?

Because of the rising popularity of holiday pop-ups, it is highly recommended that you make a reservation ahead of time at the Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, and Iowa City locations. The only taproom that won't accept reservations is the one in Solon, which will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Holly Jolly Holiday Pop-Up at LP Street Food, Cedar Rapids
Tinsel Town at the hip-stir, Marion
Mistletoe Mixer at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, Davenport
Wonderland at Driftless Pizza Co., Dubuque
