A Popular Farmer on TikTok is Coming to Cedar Rapids
A beloved TikToker is making his way to the Hawkeye State!
Just yesterday (May 2nd), the Paramount Theatre announced a new comedy show coming to Cedar Rapids later this summer. TikTok star Matt Mathews will bring his 'When That Thang Get Ta Thangn' Tour to Eastern Iowa on Saturday, September 23rd.
When I hear Matt Mathews, I immediately think about his hilarious farm chore videos. Watching him walk around in a robe scolding his animals always cracks me up. It's no wonder that he has over three million followers on TikTok! He even has an online store full of robes, clothes, and hats with some of his famous sayings on them. My favorites are "fluff off," "get up, it's time to do farm chores," and "happy whatever the **** day it is."
Matt's 'When That Thang Get Ta Thangn' comedy show will covers a wide variety of topics and personal stories. According to the Paramount's website, he will talk about "his daily life living on a farm, growing up as a gay man in Alabama, his career as a renowned boudoir photographer, and strange sexual encounters." If you're a fan of his videos, there's a good chance you'll enjoy his live show!
If you're interested in seeing Matt Mathews live, tickets for his Cedar Rapids show will go on sale this Friday, May 5th at 9 a.m. and range between $29 and $89. You can get yours online HERE.
Speaking of comedy shows, Jim Gaffigan and Jerry Seinfeld are also headed to Cedar Rapids this year! You can check out all the scheduled performances HERE.
