Equipment Company Gets Iowans Thinking About Winter Snow

Take a construction site and then look at a barn. A lot of the equipment you see overlaps with each other.

Bobcat has been making equipment for over 60 years, starting with the basic skid-steer loader to expanding its product line to where it is today.

We have our compact tractor line, utility vehicles, compact wheel loaders, small articulated loader, and telehandlers. We even have our lawnmowers here.

Mike Fitzgerald has been working with Bobcat for over 30 years.

As a company, we try and meet the customer's needs. We build a variety of different products from small machines that are 36 inches wide and weigh 3000 pounds up to machines that are over 12,000 pounds and just trying to meet those customer needs and working with the company.

And there are so many ways Bobcat works to meet the needs of its customers.

One way Bobcat works with the needs of its customers is with attachments. From hay stacking to lawn mowing, to even snow plowing, the product line variety makes it so you can get more done on the farm.

And sadly, as summer starts winding down, we need to start thinking about snow and snow removal.

We are here in the north part of the country and we know winter comes every year and so we've got snow blowers on here and snow plows on the utility vehicle to show what will be coming the in the near future.

But let’s hope we don’t need to pull those plows out anytime soon.
