Isn’t Bon Jovi A Little Old To Cover A Harry Styles Song?
Jon Bon Jovi has always been a big name in classic rock, and is one of those names that's multi-generationally recognized. I challenge you to find me one person who doesn't know "Livin' On a Prayer." You can't.
I assume it can only be a song that his grandkids like, and to try and remain relevant with them and their generation, he's decided "I'll just start playing that too."
For comparison, this is the original:
But why would he do this?
The beginning of the video just makes them sound like a bar band who is trying to figure out how to play the song someone offered them $100 to play.
It's just not his style. Jon just needs to keep playing HIS songs, because they're the some of the biggest and most iconic songs in history. He has so many hits, but yet he's going to try and play something outside of his lane.
Hopefully this isn't one of those trends we start seeing of old rock and roll guys trying to play the songs the kids are listening to to be "hip."
