Ho Ho Holy crap these lights are bright...and beautiful.

This annual holiday light display illuminates the area around Pheasant Ridge Golf Course along 12th Street in Cedar Falls.

If Santa was gliding through a Christmas Eve snowstorm on the way through the Cedar Valley, he'd certainly be able to find a place to land thanks to this fantastic annual light array, which drapes over the trees and the home itself. (Scroll for video)

Now, I by no means have any way to account for the number of Lumens emitted by this light display, but I will say that all three of my kids admitted that it was "really bright."

Once you're within a block or two of the home, this display will definitely light your way to the site.

Now, this site does NOT have the lights synced up to any music, it's just a 'Good 'Ol fashioned Christmas Light Display." But, if you are looking for those that do have music that you can tune in directly into your car's radio, you can find a comprehensive list HERE that includes displays in Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Evansdale, Gilbertville, Waverly, Sumner, Vinton/Mt. Auburn, Center Point, West Union, New Hampton, and Decorah. Right now, the list includes a whopping 16 displays, with addresses included popping into your GPS. Plus, Facebook links for more information.

One such light display that my kids fully enjoy every season is the Prospect Light Show at 1056 Prospect Blvd, Waterloo. It's in action every night from 5-10 PM.
