The #20 Iowa Hawkeyes (14-3, 3-1) rallied from a nine-point second half deficit to put down #3 Ohio State (15-2, 2-2), 84-74. It was a tough Sunday road game for the Hawkeyes who outscored the Buckeyes in the second half 47 to 39.

Senior Roy Devyn Marble led the Hawkeyes with 22 points. He was 8-of-11 performance from the free throw stripe. The guard also grabbed four rebounds and had three assists and three steals.

Four other Hawkeyes scored in double figures. Junior Aaron White score 19 points (8-of-12 shooting) with six rebounds. Senior Melsahn Basabe earned his second-straight double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Mike Gesell netted 11 points and grabbed five rebounds. Sophomore Jarrod Uthoff added 10 points.

 

Iowa shot 47.5 percent (29-of-61) from the floor and made 5-of-17 3-point field goals, including three-straight during the second half. The Hawkeyes made 21-of-26 free throws, out-rebounded Ohio State, 40-31, and forced the Buckeyes into committing 17 turnovers, which led to 27 points.
