George Kittle announced his presence to the rest of the NFL last season with a record-setting performance. Now, he's being recognized among the leagues best players heading into the 2019 season.

The former Iowa tight end and current San Fransico 49er made his debut on the NFL Network Top 100 list, coming in at #29. The annual list featuring the best players in the NFL is voted on by players. Rankings take into account the players most recent performance for his team. Kittle's most recent season was certainly one to remember.

Kittle broke the NFL record for most receiving yards by a tight end in a season with 1,377. He also led all tight ends in yards after catch. He also scored 5 touchdowns for the 49ers. It's an impressive debut for the former Iowa Hawkeye. But Kittle also made some viral headlines for another reason this week. He took time after practice to make a young fan suffering from spinal muscular atrophy.

The former Hawkeye is turning heads on the field and off, and we couldn't be prouder!
