Inmate Charged with Assaulting Female Jailer

A woman being held in the Fayette County jail, faces more charges after she allegedly assaulted a jailer.
22 year old Annelease Anderson of Chariton, was arrested earlier this month (December 12) on a Fayette County warrant for a probation violation; the original charge was burglary.

The sheriff has filed more charges against Anderson following an incident at the jail on Tuesday (December 27), in which Anderson assaulted a female detention officer.

Anderson is now also being charged with Assault on a Jailer. She is being held without bond.

The officer who was assaulted, sustained only a minor injury.
