218 Fuel Express is a truck stop in the small town of Floyd, Iowa, located right at the junction of Highway 218, 18, and 27. According to their website, the stop is "widely known for [their] high-quality food, excellent customer service, and smiling, friendly faces." The high-quality food comes from the truck stop's restaurant, Rick's Wagon Wheel, which was named a "hidden gem" by Only in Your State!

Rick's Wagon Wheel is an old-school diner, complete with wood paneling, animal heads, and lots of comfort food. The restaurant is open daily and serves lunch, dinner, and all-day breakfast. It's best known for its delicious broasted chicken dinners, served with coleslaw, potatoes, and your choice of garlic or Texas toast.

Other specialties from Rick's Wagon Wheel include fettuccini alfredo, homemade meatloaf, hot beef, burgers, and country-fried steak. The menu also features a wide-variety of sandwiches, pizza, wings, fish dinners, salads, and homemade soup. As far as breakfast goes, diners can choose from breakfast burritos, smothered hashbrowns, skillets, biscuits & gravy, pancakes, French toast, omelettes, and more. You just can't beat traditional diner food, which is probably why the restaurant has a 4.6-star rating on Google!

Rick's Wagon Wheel is open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. The truck stop also has an Express Deli where you can pick up some broasted chicken, pizza, or one of 20 different sandwiches!
