Fried Chicken Beer Is a Beverage Oddity That Is Now Available
Not since Netflix and chill have two wonderful things like this come together.
Richmond, Va.-based Veil Brewing Company is selling -- for a limited time -- fried chicken beer, made in collaboration with Evil Twin Brewing.
Don't worry -- you're not going to find a wishbone or any dark meat floating around these noble hops. "We actually put a VERY small amount of Fried Chicken in one of two of the mashes," the brewery says. "It doesn't even remotely taste like chicken."
A four-pack will run you about $18.50. There's no word whether this will open the flood gates for other combinations, namely pizza beer, which, if they're going to make fried chicken beer, needs to be done. And if they can somehow reduce that into a pill or a piece of gum, that'd be great, too. We're tired of holding a slice in one hand and a can in the other. Spare us the effort, already.
