A Florida Man was arrested Saturday after he tried to make a break from police by hopping onto a riding lawnmower and throwing it into high gear.

Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office says 40-year-old Dusty Mobley previously had fled from officers in January when he dove from a stolen $40,000 boat and into a swamp along the Yellow River.

When officers arrived to confront him about the boat, he dove off of it and avoided being caught.

Investigators say that Mobley had used heavy machinery to cut a hole in the metal building where the boat was being stored.

On Friday, officers initiated a chase with Mobley, who jumped on a lawnmower to make his daring escape.

Officers were able to simply follow Mobley on foot and tase him before he got too far away.

According to the sheriff's office, Mobley had a revolver and handcuff key in his possession, along with a pipe with residue. The residue tested positive for methamphetamine.

Mobley was arrested and booked in Okaloosa County Jail where he is held on bond.
