An early-morning altercation outside a Waterloo convenience store leaves several people injured.

Waterloo police said five people transported themselves to a local hospital to be treated for cuts and stab wounds following the fight, which occurred outside Prime Mart on Broadway Street shortly before 2 a.m. today (Friday, December 26, 2014). Each of the victims were released from the hospital by mid-morning.

Authorities haven't released any other details on the altercation.

The convenience store is the same location where a Waterloo man was fatally shot two weeks ago. Orintheo Campbell, Junior, 23, was wounded outside the Prime Mart on December 6th, and died from his injuries at a nearby hospital a short time later. Police continue to investigate Campbell's death and still have made no arrests in the case.
