Fireworks War Between Two Churches

In a village in the Greek island of Chios, the annual war of the rockets wages between two churches. Residents spend all year preparing thousands of fireworks. On Saturday night before Easter, the rockets are fired between the churches for hours upon hours. The custom goes back many years, but apparently no one is quite sure how the tradition began.
