A semi loaded with hogs and driven by 45 year old Joshua Brood of Plainfield, was in the process of making a turn at the intersection, when the truck went out of control due to the weather conditions.

The semi and it's trailer entered a ditch and tipped over onto it's side. The driver was not hurt, and only 3 hogs out of the 160 in the trailer, died.

The Fayette County Sheriff was assisted by the Waucoma Fire Department.
