It’s going to be one rocking summer. That’s because KISS and Def Leppard, two veteran bands with extensive catalogs, are uniting for a summer tour.

KISS, celebrating their 40th year in music and joining the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year, will continue touring in support of their ‘Monster’ album, while Def Leppard recently reissued a special deluxe edition of their underrated 1996 album ‘Slang’ and have been said to be working toward a new album.

The trek launches June 23 in West Valley City, Utah, and currently runs through Aug. 31 in Woodlands, Texas. Including a stop at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines on August 20th. Tickets for the trek are on sale this NOW through the Live Nation mobile app and at LiveNation.com or at all Dahls Ticket locations and by Clicking HERE

Gene Simmons revealed during a press conference that a dollar from each ticket sold will be donated to various wounded warrior organizations. The KISS bassist stated how proud he was of the military who “make freedom possible,” while Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott added, “We’ve got our own wounded warrior here,” referring to the band’s drummer Rick Allen. Both bands have also made it possible for military personnel to have first crack at tickets with a special pre-sale starting Tuesday (March 18) at 10AM local time at Military.com.
